EMD G-8 #802 |
Description: |
Built in 1956 in London Ontario, CN had six of these units in Nfld. numbered 800-805. Named "pups" by the crews, they weren't favored like the NF110/210's were, as they rode hard, and had very little space in the cabs. |

EMD G-8 #802 |
Description: |
802 is one of only three G-8's left in Canada. Sisters 803 and 805 are in Carbonear and Delson, Quebec. They used the 8-567C engine as the prime mover and were used primarily on Nfld.'s branchlines in the eastern part of the province, although some found service temporarily in other areas. |
